A book launch & discussion
Set in Đà Nẵng, this discussion brings together questions of practice, earth, collectivity, and ‘kampung’ (the concept of small towns, settlements, or communities).
The session considers how individuals situate themselves within collective work, and what is expected from shared encounters and conversations: from ideas to movements.
It also reflects on reciprocity as an ethic that shapes our relationships with earth and materials, and approaches to resisting extractive and consumerist ways of living.
What does it mean to organise among ourselves and sustain?
How do communities move across everyday realities (migration, urban pressure, production limitations) through creative mindsets?
